Membership Benefits

  • Meet and network with some of the top minds and leaders in the special events industry.
  •  All members are able to attend ISES educational, conference and social events at member rates (Guests may only attend 2 events)
  • Complementary listing in the International Special Events Society Directory on www.ises.com and local chapter website: www.iseshk.org
  • Members are entitled to use the ISES Member logo on marketing material (websites, business cards, email signatures etc.)
  • All members may apply for CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional) Accreditation
  •  All members may enter the ISES Esprit Awards (global) and upcoming Hong Kong Awards, recognizing the best and most creative talent and efforts in the special events industry.
  • All members have access to the members section of the international website (www.ises.com), providing access to useful member resources, a careers centre and member forum, as well as a membership update facility.
  • All members receive an electronic copy of “The Special Event” magazine – a global industry publication, distributed monthly. 
  • All members are entitled to post job advertisements, upcoming events and case studies on the Hong Kong ISES chapter website (www.iseshk.org)
  • Members benefit from ISES Hong Kong’s impressive network of industry professionals, media contacts and partners to maximize the exposure of their own business and projects.
  • All members receive a local and international newsletter to inform the ISES network of upcoming events, recent events, special deals and promotions for members, encouraging organizations to use their membership to boost business.

Membership details:

The ISES Membership year starts from July 1 through to June 30. There are 3 different types of membership. These are:

1. Individual

Any person who prefers a personally owned membership, rather than one which is owned by the company. Non-transferable.  

HK$3,225

(Plus a one off joining fee of $700.00)  

2. Corporate

Any one person serving as the official representative of a company. Membership is company owned and is transferable only by written notification to ISES. (Transfer fee may apply) 

Membership fee is based on company size. 

1-5              HK$3,225 

6-29            HK$4,200 

30+              HK$5,500

(Plus a one off joining fee of $700.00)  

3. Non-Profit /Student

Any person employed by a non-profit agency, tax exempt foundation, government, or philanthropic organisation. Membership is owned by the organisation and is transferable only by written notification to ISES. OR Full Time Student
